Two specialized AI models
AgentCo developed two core AI models for this project, each focused on a different part of footwear understanding. Together, they create a more complete visual-intelligence layer than a general-purpose image model can provide.
Metric learning and visual similarity
The first model focuses on visual similarity and metric learning. It identifies how closely two shoes relate based on visual structure, design, color, shape, and style, creating the foundation for accurate visual search and product matching.
Automatic tagging and shoe understanding
The second model analyzes a shoe image and detects key attributes including shoe type, style, color type, color placement, material, and other product characteristics. This makes large footwear catalogs easier to classify, search, and enrich automatically.
